Motivation

Motivation refers to the internal and external factors that stimulate the desire and energy in individuals to be continually interested and committed to a task, role, or job. It is the driving force that prompts action, encourages persistence, and influences the direction of behavior toward achieving goals. Motivation can be intrinsic, arising from personal satisfaction or the joy of performing a task, or extrinsic, where external rewards such as money, praise, or recognition play a role. Understanding motivation involves exploring various theories and elements such as needs, desires, goals, and incentives, and it plays a critical role in personal development, education, and organizational behavior.
